JCT600 celebrates £1 million redevelopment of BMW Bradford
November 2014 saw JCT600 celebrate the official opening of its revamped BMW dealership in Bradford following £1m of redevelopment work.
More than 200 customers and key local figures attended the opening event at the Sticker Lane dealership on 27 November following its extensive refurbishment. Guests were wowed by Titan the robot and inspired by British Touring Car Champion, Colin Turkington who brought his winning BMW along with him.
Work on the first phase of the six month project was finished in early September and now the second phase has also been competed. The dealership has seen the complete refurbishment of the interior of its show room to enhance the sales environment as well as improving customer facilities and first floor staff accommodation.
Incorporating BMW’s latest corporate branding, the new concept is much more customer focused with specific business, children and lounge areas. It also features two new vehicle delivery rooms for dedicated handover, as well as energy efficient lighting and a new wireless Building Management System (BMS)to control the building environment and energy usage.
The refurbishment was undertaken by PDR Construction Ltd from Hull.
“The design at BMW Bradford forms part of the brand’s global ‘future retail’ concept which focusses on enhancing the customer experience,” explains Mark Taylor, group property director of JCT600.
“This major investment is part of a rolling programme of improvements being undertaken across our dealerships, all with the aim of making JCT600 the best place to shop. We want to make visiting our BMW showroom as pleasant as possible, with customers greeted by friendly, knowledgeable staff and able to enjoy more comfortable and stylish surroundings, complete with special hospitality areas for business people and play areas for children.”
BMW Bradford offers a full range of new and used vehicles as well as service and maintenance facilities.
